That's so wonderful to hear! I'm glad you're enjoying my blog. That's great that your veggie hiking group went to Animal Acres for a visit. Meeting the animals and hearing their stories firsthand makes the abuses within animal agriculture that much more personal. It takes it from an abstract number (10 billion land animals killed yearly in the US) to real faces of animals with likes, dislikes, and personalities. It's hard to look at Jumper, for example, and imagine her being thought of as a commodity. I think you will really like the lemony tofu. It's become something of an addiction around here.
