We’ve had another festive week of partying! This time it was an all-nighter, a good old fashioned sleepover. When the guests arrived, they were greeted with a cold hummus-style dip, Spinach & Artichoke Great Northern Bean Dip:
Then it was time for a hot appetizer, the gloriously creamy Loaded Potato Slices with Cashew Cream & Bacony Bits:
As morning drew closer, we needed something on the breakfast side of things with Apple Cinnamon Waffle Sticks:
Finally, as the sun peeked out from the horizon, something hearty was on the menu with the Southwestern Tofu Tostada:
This ends the pajama party week of my party-themed posts, but the fun doesn’t stop here! Today you’ll find me over at Veganville, doing a video interview with the irreverent and hilarious, Gigi. She’s doing a weekly long-distance interview series called Who Dat Vegan, following vegans in their natural habitats. (Last week it was really long distance, as her interview was with Veganosaurus in India!) Thanks to Gigi for inviting me to take part!
I’ll see you all again next week!

Your video with Gigi was super fun to watch.
xo
kittee
Thank you, Kittee! I’m always so delighted when Gigi does one of her videos, and so it was such a treat to take part in one!
Hopped over from GiGi’s blog to say that I really enjoyed your video interview.
Thanks, Susmitha! I watched your video interview last week, and you have such a warm, bubbly personality. I’m glad to hear that Gigi is planning on keeping up this feature. It’s fun to be introduced to vegans across the globe like yourself!
Sweet Kitties! Was this a grown up sleepover? I always want to host those, but it’s surprisingly difficult to get adults to come to a pajama party! Those potato slices look right up my alley!
Thanks! I just love seeing the kitties sleep and cuddle like that. They don’t always get along, and so when they do, it’s heartwarming to see.
This was more of a conceptual/virtual grown up sleepover. I should have made that clearer in the post. Like you, I’d love to host one too, but since most of our friends have young kids, even organizing a lunch or dinner can be tricky!
Thank you Kittee, Susmitha, and of course Cadry! Wonderful wrap up to your sleepover. Had so much fun.
Thank you, Gigi! Who Dat Vegan is such a fun idea, and I can’t wait to see what you do with it next!
yay! I loved pajama party!!
Yay! Thanks, Amey!
happy slumber party! i loved your interview. you’re so prettyyyyyyyyyy.
Aw, what a sweet thing to say, Caitlin! You’ve made my day!
Your interview with Gigi is so fun! You are awesome!!!
Thank you, Amey! I’m all smiles now!
i love that naughty smile on the artichoke dip! and godh the tofu tostada! heading on over to gigi for your interview!
I can’t say I’m surprised at the dip’s naughty smile. I know what it’s BEAN up to! Ha, ha!
Loved the video! And this week’s theme too! I need those Southwestern Tofu Tostadas in my belly! Ha!
Thanks, Kelly!!
The PJ party has been my favorite yet! Can’t wait to see what’s next week
Oh, that’s so good to hear, Maggie! I hope you’ll enjoy the next one!
Great video, great party, great week!
Thanks, thanks, thanks!
Another great week!! I haven’t had time to comment a lot, but I’ve been drooling along. I really enjoyed your interview over at Veganville too!
Oh, thank you, Rose! Gigi is such a sweetheart and so full of life. It was fun getting to collaborate with her!
Super cute waffle sticks and cups they’re in — adorable.
Thanks so much, Trista! I made four of those cups, but I never know what to do with them. Who knew they’d end up being just the right size for waffle stick holders?
Wait — I just watched Gigi’s interview, and at the end she mentions Olive Pit Pottery. Is that you? Did you make these super cute waffle stick containers????
Yep, that’s me! I’m Olive Pit Pottery! Thanks for the kind words. I’m glad you like them!
This week has made me realize how much I need to have a slumber party. I think the twins, Chris, and I should have one before they get too old to hang out with boring adults.
I can’t wait to see what you’re cooking up for next week!
Absolutely!! Those years go so fast when kids are interested in hanging with the adults in their lives and when they have the time. Before you know it, there are so many extra-curricular activities that move to the forefront. This is the time to make all of those wonderful family memories. You’d all have so much fun having a pajama party together!
Can I come to the next sleepover? I promise to bring my appetite! Amazing eats Cadry!
Of course! The door is wide open for you, Somer!
Yay! p.s. I just noticed that you aren’t on the list for the most fabulous party yet, the VIrtual Vegan Potluck! There’s less than 10 slots left. Pretty please join us? Lots of your friends are all ready there!

It’s on Nov. 1st, World Vegan Day!
Sounds fun, Somer! I signed up!
I think I’m in love with you! Thanks!!!
Oh, lovely! I can’t wait to see what you post about your Doctor Who party!
Thanks, Theresa! I’m pretty excited about it too. I made a special piece of pottery for it, and it still has to be fired in the kiln. So I’m planning on doing the Dr. Who party at the end of the month when it’s ready.
