My 20 Favorite Posts of 2012

20 Favorites from 2012I can hardly believe another year has come and gone!  But before we wave goodbye to 2012 and raise a glass to 2013, I wanted to look back on what have been my favorite posts from this past year.  There are everyday meals – like kale salad, easy breakfast polenta, taco pizza, and lentil soup.  There are fancier, once-in-a-blue-moon dinners and tasty sides.  And then there are the posts that I enjoy writing the most about navigating the world as a compassionate, open-hearted vegan.  Along with the joys, there are trials and lessons to explore.

Know that every time you drop by to read a post, leave a comment, or send a message, it always brings a smile to my face.  I so appreciate that you took the time to read a line, to say hello, or to share your thoughts.  If there are any posts that you enjoy seeing or would like to see more of in the coming year, please let me know!  I value your feedback.

And now here are my favorites from 2012…  (Just click on the picture to see the post and recipe.)

Thank you! Crispy cabbage is a great way of using that half a head of cabbage left in the refrigerator! It shrinks so much, it’s easy to gobble up way more cabbage than might be possible raw or steamed.

Thanks also for the kind words! I hope that you have a very happy 2013!

I loved the walk down memory lane! It reminded me of a couple of recipes I want to make, but haven’t done so yet. This was a great way to wrap up a great year of blogging! I look forward to what 2013 brings.

You have had one fantastic year, my friend! That cauliflower queso remains one of my favorites and the taco pizza will be in my near future since those Viccolo pizza crusts are now staples at our house! Here’s to another wonderful year! xoxo

Oh, yes, make that taco pizza ASAP, and don’t skimp on the chips! They make the pizza. :)

Thank you, Andrea! I was just talking about you yesterday as David and I enjoyed the cheese sauce from Artisan Vegan Cheese over nachos. I know it’s traditional to start the New Year with black-eyed peas and greens, but nachos aren’t a bad choice either! 😉 I hope you have a very happy and healthy 2013 too!!

Thank you! Now that the holidays are over, it’s a good time to return to raw collard wraps! 😀 I hope you have a wonderful 2013!

What a stunning collection of food photos and I can vouch for the deliciousness of your black bean taco pizza! I also really enjoyed your “Going Vegan” posts – I feel like I can vent on other peoples blogs in these types of posts because family members aren’t likely to read the comments I sometimes make about them. Wishing you all the best for a wonderful 2013!

Thank you, Mel! I always enjoy reading the comments on those kinds of posts too, because you get a real insight into other people’s lives and hearts. I hope that 2013 is marvelous for you too!
