Great Scott! It seems like only moments ago that we were reveling in Vegan MoFo 2012, and that time is here again. This will be my fourth year participating in this annual celebration of all things vegan, in which bloggers are challenged to post at least twenty days for the month. (You can read about my themes from 2010 and 2011 here.)
I had the idea for this year’s theme when I slipped in the tub, hit my head, and saw flaxseeds dancing overhead. It was then that I got the idea for the Flax Capacitor – the way for vegans to bind baked goods, get their omega 3’s, and travel time and space.*
That’s right. We’re going to go Back in Thyme as I step into my virtual DeLorean and press the pedal to the metal. When this thing hits 88 miles per hour, you’re going to see some serious… salad.
I’ll be cruising through my own timeline to feast on meals from other periods in my life, veganizing old childhood favorites, remaking restaurant meals of yore, and revisiting the things that led me to going vegan.
I’ll also be sharing two video posts a week, including video interviews with vegans I’ve met in the past, present, and future. Check in for those video posts every Monday & Friday throughout the month of September!
Perhaps best of all, you can follow along as I traverse time and space from the comfort of your own home. After all, where we’re going, we don’t need roads.
*Your time traveling results may vary.
