Air fryer baby potatoes

Here's a fast, easy, and satisfying side dish! Baby potatoes are ready in just 12 to 17 minutes, thanks to the convenience of an air fryer. Eat them as is or smash them with a bit of non-dairy butter, salt, and pepper. Vegan and gluten-free.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound baby potatoes
  • Spritz oil spray
  • Dash seasoning salt

Instructions

  • Scrub baby potatoes in water. Put them in the air fryer basket.
    (You don't need to worry about drying them. The hot air in the fryer basket will blow around them & dry them off.)
  • Air fry for 12 to 17 minutes at 400 degrees. Stop once or twice to shake the basket, spritz the potatoes with oil, and sprinkle on seasoning salt.
    The cooking time will vary depending on the size of the potatoes. You'll know the potatoes are ready when you can easily pierce them with a fork.
  • Once the potatoes are done, remove them from the air fryer basket.
    Serve them as a complete side dish. Or smash them with a little non-dairy butter, salt, and pepper, like you would a baked potato.

Notes

If you don't have oil spray, dry the potatoes off fully before putting them in the air fryer basket. Then rub them with your preferred neutral-flavored oil.
For the seasoning salt, I'm a fan of Penzey's Fox Point seasoning, which includes dried shallots, chives, garlic, and onions. However, feel free to use any seasoning salt you enjoy or even just salt & pepper.
