Sautéed squash blossoms
You know it's summer when squash blossoms start appearing in the farmers market. Sauté them with a bit of garlic for a unique side dish or delicate pizza topping.
Serves 1 as a small side or 2 on a small pizza.

Ingredients

avocado oil
or other neutral-flavored cooking oil

squash blossoms
pistils and hard stems removed
Instructions
In a medium-sized skillet, bring oil to a medium-high heat.
Sauté garlic in oil a minute or two, until fragrant.
Add squash blossoms to the pan and sauté until wilted.
Serve immediately or use as a pizza topping.
