Transform Trader Joe's vegan cream cheese into light and airy sour cream by whipping it with water. It's great dolloped onto an air fryer baked potato or soy chorizo tacos.Note: The nutrition info listed below is for a 2.5 Tablespoon serving.
1(8-ounce) containerTrader Joe's vegan cream cheese alternative
¼cupwater
Instructions
Add Trader Joe's vegan cream cheese alternative and water to a blender.
Blend until smooth, creamy, and aerated. (If your blender is having difficulty blending, blend on low speed and/or stop to stir.)
Serve right away, or transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for later use. (Keep in mind that it will thicken in the refrigerator as it cools, because of the coconut oil in the cream cheese.)
Notes
For easy storage, transfer the vegan sour cream back into the cream cheese container, and cover with lid. It will last up to 2 weeks in the fridge.
